The Interceptor (See Interceptor Mk2) is one of the lightest Medium ships, able to reach high speeds. It's also the Frigate of Zumbalari faction. The ship's two weapon mounts fire at a slightly inward angle.
For player use, it's advised to use Pulse Multi-Cannons on the main ship, with satellites either being Pots for more slots or Potatoes for missile secondary.
In Frontier, the duel with this ship branches off of 2-3, and requires use of a ship that is Frigate class or smaller.

All variants are reasonably fast however aren't too heavily armored.
- Non-veterans are armed with dual Neutron Blasters.
- Veterans are armed with dual very-dangerous Pulse Multi-Cannons. If possible, stay out of fire.
