The Point-Defense System
Point-Defense System is a defensive module that appears in both Event Horizon and Event Horizon - Frontier. It shoots down projectiles and drones in a set range around the user's ship with a lightning bolt.
It can shoot down all approaching projectiles, with an activation time of about half a second everytime the system is fired, thus can be breached with rapid fire weapons or beam attack. Full charge Heavy Antimatter Torpedo, Ion Cannons, and Plasma weapons can't be nullified by this defensive module.
The Point Defense System can shoot down the purple projectile of a Black Hole Generator, but not the black hole when it forms.
